TrustSwap Loyalty Metrics: DASH & SwapScore Explained

If you have been following the updates from the TrustSwap team, you may have seen a few terms such as DASH or SwapScore. These are related to on-chain token metrics that are used to determine eligibility for airdrops (also known as SwapDrops) and early access to pre-sales of the Trusted Coin Offerings (TCOs) that launch on the TrustSwap Launchpad. Let us delve deeper into what these metrics mean, how they play a role in determining your eligibility for SwapDrops and TCOs, and how to find your DASH or SwapScore.

D.A.S.H. stands for Daily Averaged SWAP Held. The DASH Score is intended to recognize loyal supporters who have been holding SWAP since the early days by rewarding their strong hands and faith in the project. The idea is to make the reward proportional not only to the amount of SWAP held or staked but the amount of time as well. This maximizes the benefits to the TrustSwap community and distributes the rewards more fairly than a simple oligarchy. The DASH score is the average of daily SWAP held in (or TrustStaked from) a single personal wallet between 9th July, 2020, (the public launch date of TrustSwap) and the present day.

NOTE: Only SWAP held in personal wallets and/or staked on the official TrustStake™ platform will accrue DASH and receive SwapDrops. SWAP held on third-party exchanges, dApps, or other smart contracts may not be eligible.

To see if your wallet is eligible for SwapDrops, check the following:

  1. Do you have access to the private keys?

2. If you look up the public key (ETH address) on, does it reflect the correct balances?

If you answer yes to both then you should be fine.

DASH = T / D

T = Total amount from adding your daily snapshots of SWAP balance since July 9th, 2020.

D = Total number of daily snapshots taken since July 9th, 2020.

Simply put, your DASH is the average amount of SWAP you’ve held in your wallet since July 9th.

The DASH score can be used for allocating SwapDrops from other projects including any project that launches from the TrustSwap Launchpad.

NOTE: The projects that airdrop their tokens to SWAP holders will set their own eligibility criteria for each SwapDrop and some may require recipients to pay the transaction fees.

Here are some examples of SwapDrops that have happened so far:

  1. Chain Games: Chain Games was the first project to launch on the TrustSwap Launchpad. They dropped CHAIN tokens proportional to daily average SWAP holdings (DASH) over the month of September (minimum 1000 SWAP)
  2. SoftLink: sLINK tokens were airdropped to any wallet holding over 10,000 SWAP
  3. Tribute: TRBT tokens were dropped to the addresses with the top 3000 highest DASH score (required manual claim + gas fee)
  4. WinPlay: WinPlay dropped WNRZ tokens to addresses with the top 500 DASH scores

Your SwapScore similar to the DASH but it is calculated by your Daily Average SWAP Staked (not just held) over the most recent 60-day window. SwapScore will be used to award NFT tickets which can be entered into a provably-fair lottery to win access to upcoming presales on the TrustSwap Launchpad. Only SWAP that is staked on TrustSwap’s Official TrustStake platform is eligible for the launchpad allocation tickets. Rather than using a set start date for this metric (as with DASH), SwapScore will be calculated as an average over the most recent 60 days. This allows new participants to raise their score rapidly enough to get in on upcoming launchpad projects that catch their eye and encourages continued community growth and participation.

SwapScore = S/60*

S = Total from adding the most recent 60 daily snapshots of SWAP staked on TrustStake.

*For the first 60 days following the launch of TrustStake, SwapScore will be based on an average over the number of days since the launch date of 14th September, 2020.

NOTE: Daily snapshot to calculate DASH and SwapScore will be taken at an undisclosed time to prevent gaming the system.
